BLAST!

Some people really should have paid more attention in chemistry class. One such man, a carpenter from Birmingham, was severely injured after he made the most basic of errors. Having spent the day painting and decorating his house, he washed off all the dirt he had accumulated during the course of his day and set to work to remove the paint that had splattered all over his hair and skin. Ignoring the fact that he was burning incense in several different containers placed about the bathroom, he opened a can of petrol that he had siphoned from his car and set about scrubbing away at the paint... for a second or two. Before he knew what had happened, the petrol fumes were ignited by the candle flames in the incense burners. The DIY expert was then blasted out into the street and two of the non-supporting walls in his bathroom were later found to be propping up the bedroom. There was minimal fire damage.
