DONT LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE

A young couple from New York had to go away for a friend's funeral in Los Angeles and, not wanting to expose their ten-month-old baby to such a sad experience, they asked the wife's mother to look after him while they were away. When it was time to leave to catch their plane, the grandmother had still not turned up. The wife rang her grandmother, who told them she was running late and to go for their plane. She would grab a taxi over and be there in ten minutes. Convinced, the couple left their baby in his high chair and hurried to the airport. However, the grandmother, in her rush, had a heart attack and died in her apartment. The couple returned from their trip to find that their son had died of starvation.
