HEADLESS

A young couple was taking the train from Manchester to London. As die girl didn't smoke, the boy had agreed to sit in a non-smoking carriage and go into the corridor for the occasional cigarette. An hour into the journey, die boy felt the need for a nicotine hit and, telling his girlfriend he would be right back, went into the corridor to light up a cigarette. The girl took a magazine out of her bag and started reading it, glancing over from time to time because she could just make out her boyfriend's legs in the corridor. After a while, the boy hadn't returned so the girl went out to see what he was doing. When she saw what had happened, she let out a bloodcurdling scream. Against all good sense, the boy had leant his head right out of the window and a train, passing the other way, had knocked it right off, leaving his body leaning on the inside for his girlfriend to see.
