LOYAL HUSBAND

An old couple had been together for over 60 years and their lives were deeply entwined. One day, the man dropped his wife off to do some shopping and told her he'd wait in the car for her. He turned on the radio and entertained himself with a bit of people-watching. Meanwhile, his wife had done her shopping and, completely forgetting about her husband, she walked home. When her husband didn't show up that evening, the wife got worried and reported him missing. He was found two days later exactly where she'd left him after a policeman noticed him asleep at the wheel.
