MEANT TO BE

In Madrid, Spain, a mortuary attendant was sent out in a hearse to pick up the body of an old man who had died the previous night. The attendant drove out and picked up the body, but on the way back, he heard gurgling noises coming from the back of the hearse. He stopped the car and got out. Unzipping the body bag, the attendant was shocked to discover that the old man was actually still alive. The movement of the car had somehow aroused the man from a coma. The attendant immediately phoned a local hospital and was told to drive toward the hospital and an ambulance would meet him on the way. The attendant, a little shaky after the experience, drove erratically and collided with the ambulance coming the other way. In a cruel twist of fate, the old man was killed.
