STAMP OUT
Russian man had an unusual talent for extremely small writing and would copy
pages of writing on to minuscule pieces of paper. Seeking the biggest challenge
for his talent, he decided to try to copy the entire works of Lenin on to a postage
stamp. Every evening, he spent hours in his study copying pages on to a tiny section
of the stamp. This went on for month after month until, 1 5 months, two weeks
and four days later, he finally finished. He shouted for joy and went out to celebrate
at his local bar. The next morning, the man, suffering a stinking hangover, went
to his study to frame his accomplishment, but couldn't find the stamp anywhere.
Having searched and searched unsuccessfully he asked his wife if she'd seen the
stamp. "Stamp?" replied the woman nonchalantly, "Oh, yes, I needed one for a letter
to my mother and found one on your desk yesterday. You didn't need it, did you?"
