A NICE SURPRISE
An intrepid hunter from Derbyshire was particularly pleased with his catch
one weekend. He had bagged an enormous pheasant and so he went down to his local
pub to celebrate and show off his prize. After a few pints, the proud hunter took
his mates out to his truck and showed them his catch. However, the man, a bit
worse for wear from alcohol, stumbled and lost his grip on the dead pheasant.
The pheasant knocked the man's gun resting on the side of the truck, causing it
to shoot the man in the foot. Forced to report the incident, the man not only
lost his regular job because of his incapacitated foot, but he was also fined
for shooting pheasant out of season. The pheasants had the last laugh that weekend.
