FOREIGN FIND
This is a classic but it seems to be a common occurrence. A family from Auckland,
New Zealand, was on holiday in Thailand. During their stay, they came across a
small dog and, when the children fell in love with it, the parents decided to
sneak it back home. Having successfully smuggled the puppy through New Zealand
customs in the wife's handbag, the family set up a home for the puppy. They gave
it a bed and bought it it's very own food and water bowls. A few days later, however,
they were horrified to discover their next-door-neighbour's cat had captured and
killed their little darling. The family were even more horrified when the vet
told them that their darling puppy was in fact a giant Thai rat.
