PIE FACED CAT

A woman from Richmond, Virginia, had just baked a blueberry pie and set it on the table to cool, when her two sons came home from school. The mother told them she was just going to visit the woman next door and they were not to touch the pie as it was for dessert later. The boys helped themselves to a cold drink and were about to go outside and play, when the lure of the freshly-baked blueberry pie pulled them back and they decided to risk a small bite. However, one small bite led to several and soon they had consumed a whole quarter of the pie. When they heard their mother returning, they had to think quickly and, spotting the cat drinking its milk in the corner, they grabbed it, plonked its face into the middle of the pie and ran out of the kitchen. The mother entered the kitchen, saw the cat on the table with its whiskered covered in crumbs and blueberries and, in an outburst of anger, picked the cat up and threw it out of the window. The unfortunate cat landed in the road, right in front of a passing school bus.
