RANDY MOOSE
One winter, a wooden deer, used for target practice near an Alaskan village
attracted the attention of a wild bull moose. Undeterred by the pockmarks in the
life-sized model, the bull made several passionate passes as amused hunters watched
from a safe distance. The brief affair ended when the e bull's advances became
increasingly physical. The bull didn't seem to notice when the deer's antlers
broke off, but when its head fell off, he stopped abruptly and dismounted the
decapitated deer. The frustrated bull moose looked down at the broken head, snorted
and trotted off back to the woods.
