RINGING DOG

A man from Manchester, England became frantic when he couldn't find his mobile phone anywhere in his house. He had looked everywhere and even phoned the number from his house phone in the hope of hearing the mobile ringing somewhere. Soon after he'd tried phoning the mobile, his wife returned home from walking the dog. She looked very concerned. She'd been playing fetch with Jessie, a 30kg St Bernard, when she heard a strange, muffled ringing sound coming from somewhere nearby. After realising that the ringing became louder when Jessie approached her, she'd put her head to the dog's stomach and discovered the ringing was coming from Jessie. Worried, she returned straight home. The man was delighted that the phone had been found, but a little bemused as to how to retrieve it and, like his wife, was concerned for Jessies health and well-being. He called the veterinary surgeon who told him the best thing to do was to wait for time - and the phone - to pass. They took the dog for another walk and sure enough, half an hour later, the phone popped out.
