BELOW THE BELT

Police in Lima, Peru, are concerned at a spate of unusual attacks on women in a city car park. Each woman reported that they had left their cars in the car park to go shopping. On their return, as the woman opened her car door, she felt an intense pain across her ankles and on looking down, she saw that a man hiding under the car had slashed her with a knife. The man then emerged from under the car, took all the woman's shopping and drove off in her car. The police have now issued a warning to all women that they should look under their cars before approaching them.
