CHIPS ARE DOWN

Belgian man held up a corner shop with a gun, shouting at customers to lie down on the floor with their hands over their heads. As he went from one customer to another, emptying their pockets and taking their valuables, he came across one woman who had been eating chips and mayonnaise at the time. Unable to resist the intoxicating smell, the man grabbed a handful of chips and stuffed them into his mouth. Satisfied with his ill-gotten gains, the man went to leave. However, as he did so, he slipped on a chip that he had dropped and knocked himself out. An arresting police officer commented, "Many a robber has been caught because they succumbed to the temptation of our celebrated chip."
