CLEVER CRIMINALS.

This burglar must really have done his homework. A couple woke up to discover that their car had been stolen. They reported the robbery to the police, only to return from work the following day to find the car, cleaned and waxed, sitting in their driveway with an envelope on the driver's seat. A note inside the envelope apologised for taking the car. The writer explained that his mother had been taken seriously ill and he had had to take her to the hospital. With the note were two tickets to a concert that night. Surprised and delighted by this turn of events, the couple went to the concert where they enjoyed a very pleasant evening's entertainment. However, when they returned home, they discovered that their house had been thoroughly burgled and all their valuables had been stolen. A week later, the police informed them that their car had been used in a major bank robbery staged during the day it was missing.
