FAIR EXCHANGE
In Buenos Aires, Argentina, a woman, in a hurry to get to a dentist's appointment,
decided to risk a shortcut through a park known for its criminal element. Suddenly,
the woman felt her necklace being snapped off and, before the attacker could run
off, she turned round sharply, grabbed his neck chain and snapped that off. Both
ran away in opposite directions. When safely out of the park the woman examined
the neck chain and, impressed by the look of it, took it to a jeweller. The woman
was delighted by the exchange - her necklace had just been a gold-plated fake,
the neck chain was 22-carat gold.
