HEADLESS

A young couple drove into the grounds of a mental institution and parked up with a view to looking at the stars and listening to the radio. While they were sitting there a report came over the airwaves warning that a dangerous patient has escaped from the very institution in the grounds of which they were parked. Deciding not to take any chances, the couple attempted to start the car and drive to somewhere safer. Unfortunately, the car would not start and so the man decided to go and get help, telling his girlfriend to lock the car door behind him and not to get out for any reason. After a while, she saw a blue flashing light in the distance and, at the same time, heard a loud banging noise from the roof of the car. The police car pulled up and an officer told the girl to get out of the car but not to look at the roof of her vehicle. Of course, she looked. There on the roof of the car sat a man with mad staring eyes and her boyfriend s head in his hands.
