JOINTS

A police officer was lecturing children on the dangers of drugs in a community centre in Moss Side, Manchester. The officer took out a real cannabis joint and passed it round on a dish, so that the children could see and smell it. He warned the children not to remove it, pointing out that he had to take the joint back to the evidence room, and if it was not there when the dish came back, he would have to search them all. However, when the dish returned, the officer was surprised to see that not only was the joint still there, but that it had been joined by two more joints, three wraps of speed and a rock of crack.
