PREGNANT BALL
In Albuquerque, New Mexico, a woman, who was seven-months pregnant, was shopping
for a toy for her two-year-old daughter. She found a doll and paid for it, but
as she went to leave, a security guard pulled her aside and asked her to follow
him. The security guard took the woman and her daughter to a room in the back.
He said, "I believe you have a basketball under your dress." The woman began to
protest, but the guard just said, "No, don't give me any of that pregnant stuff,
I've heard it all before." The woman had to take her dress off before the security
guard was convinced of her pregnancy. She later won a libel suit against the shop
for putting her through such an experience.
