TEENAGE PIMP
A 13-year-old boy was convicted of attempting to organise a prostitution ring
in a small town in Louisiana. The boy, far from defending himself, bragged about
how he had convinced girls in his class to work for him. Several boys in his school
had each paid between $5 to $15 for intimate encounters with his "employees",
although there was no evidence that sex occurred. The 13-year-old pimp told the
court he had so far made $95 out of the "business", which he had already spent
on a trendy pair of trainers.
