TRIP FANTASTIC

A student at a remote rural college liked nothing better than to play dangerously and take LSD. Such was his capacity that, come one birthday, he decided to treat himself to four trips in one session. While staggering about the campus he suddenly thought it would be a good idea to climb a tree, which he promptly fell out of, breaking his arm. He was rushed to hospital and, while nobody guessed the illegal truth behind his fall, he was still hallucinating wildly as he went under anaesthetic. At least, he reasoned with what was left of his reason, he'd be okay when he awoke. Some time later he came out of his slumber. The police had not been called, he was safe but, the unfortunate hippy realised to his horror, he was still tripping away.
