UNLUCKY DAY

In Madrid, Spain, a man went to drown his sorrows in a local bar after a disastrous day - he had lost his job, his wife had left him and his gambling debts were being called in by the local Mafioso. The man got so drunk that on the way home, he broke into a house via the back garden and filled a suitcase full of valuables. To cover any trace of the crime, the inebriated man set fire to the curtains and left die same way he had come in. However, on turning the corner to his road, dragging the heavily-laden suitcase behind, he was shocked to see fire engines arriving outside his house. In his drunken state, the man had burgled and burnt down his own house!
