ARM FASCINATION

In American in the Fifties medical students at a well-known university were irritated that a woman had been allowed to enrol on the course, and several of them decided to frighten her away. One night, they left a pickled arm from a cadaver in the woman's bed, hoping that she would see the arm, realise that she wasn't cut out for a medical profession and drop out. However, the students didn't bank on her reacting as badly as she did. The woman had been out drinking that night and so when she retired, she mistook the pickled arm for a pillow. When she woke up in the morning, the woman was mortified to discover she had not only slept with the pickled arm, she had sucked on it through the night. The poor woman was so traumatised. that she wouldn't stop sucking on the arm and she was eventually sectioned to a psychiatric institution.
