DOUBLE TROUBLE

One night, an ambulance was sent to pick up a man, reported to be in need of medical attention, from the side of a road. The ambulance driver drove down the road slowly, looking for the man on the verge. Suddenly, there was a bump as the ambulance appeared to run over something. In an attempt to work out what it was, the driver reversed back, only to run over the same thing again. It slowly dawned on the ambulance driver what he had just done - twice. Back at the hospital, doctors were mystified why a man coming in with a bad heart condition had two broken legs.
