FALSE START
A woman who had lost control of her bowel movements was diagnosed as having
a rare condition. Fortunately, technology had an answer and a device was surgically
implanted in her backside. In order to go to the toilet all she had to do was
pass a magnet over a sensor in her abdomen to open her bowels. The device worked
superbly and the woman began to enjoy a new lease of life. In fact, she was so
delighted with the freedom the device gave her, that she quit her job and decided
to travel around the world for a year. As she boarded the first of her flights
and settled in her seat, she realised that she might have made a mistake - the
airport security X-ray machine had triggered off the device, delivering an unpleasant
mess into her pants.
