EGG TIMER REMINDER

A man from Eccles, a town in the north of England, decided that when he died he wanted to be cremated. There was nothing unusual in that, but he made an addition to his will at the last moment. Having carefully set aside a certain sum of money, he requested that his ashes be placed not in an urn, but in a rather elaborate egg timer, which was to be kept in his wife's kitchen after he was gone. With the help of a very skilful glassblower, his wife was able to carry out her husband's last wish and he now sits on her kitchen table, helping her to boil eggs whenever he is required.
