OLD IN THE TOOTH
Two old men were out fishing off the coast one day in Cornwall, England. They
weren't having much luck and were about to turn back when the weather turned nasty.
Their boat was getting tossed this way and that, and before long one of the old
fellows felt ill and vomited over the side. Unfortunately, the old timer retched
so hard that he lost his false teeth along with the contents of his stomach -
much to the amusement of his companion. The storm soon passed and the men decided
to have another try at fishing. Eventually, one of them hooked a fish and brought
it in. He'd caught a large fish, and, before announcing his catch, he decided
to play a trick on his friend. He slit open the fish, took out his own false teeth
and put them inside the fish. Calling over his companion, he said: "Look at this,
I've caught the fish that swallowed your bloody teeth!" The other fellow grabbed
the set from the fish and put them in his mouth. After trying to adjust them,
he took them out again and said: "Don't fit. They're not mine," as he threw them
overboard.
