PHILOSOPHY
This urban myth, which is concerned with the activities of university philosophy
departments, has transcended the status of mere myth and is now quite rightly
considered to be an urban legend. Philosophy courses are famous for asking difficult
questions like, 'If you took a boat apart and built it again of the same material,
would it still be the same boat?', but at least that allows room for argument.
Imagine the poor students in the hellish philosophy exam where the one and only
question was "Why?", to which the only correct answer was "Because".
