WHAT A FLOATER
An interesting lawsuit was brought against a German tourist by a Greek hotel
owner. The hotel owner sued for damages, alleging that the man's actions had caused
several other hotel guests to leave. In his defence, the German stated that his
actions were a direct result of eating the food served in the hotel. As it came
out in court, the tourist had been lounging in the hotel swimming pool when he
suffered a bout of stomach cramps. Unable to get out of the pool in time, he lost
control of his bodily functions while he was still in the water. Before he knew
it, a young girl had spotted the brown slick circling him and alerted the other
guests. It didn't take long for the pool to empty. Eventually, the red-faced man
escaped into the toilets and cleaned himself up. He emerged only to face the wrath
of the hotel owner: the incident had caused several guests to check out. The man
blamed the sudden bowel movement on the mussels he'd had for lunch in the hotel
restaurant.
