BURIED ALIVE

A father and son had gone to a baseball game at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. The father had driven there in his BMW but, on leaving the game, they couldn't find the car where they'd parked it and, after searching everywhere, they concluded that it had been stolen. The father reported the theft to the police and caught a taxi home with his son. Just as they arrived home, there was a big earthquake that affected the whole Bay Area. The next day, the father received a phone call from the police. His car had been found flattened by a landslide caused by the earthquake. The car thief was also found in the car, crushed to death.
