DEAD BULL

A young woman from Manchester, England, had an experience learning to drive that would put anyone off ever driving again. Her father thought he would take her out for a spin in the country and let her drive along the quiet country lanes. Around Macclesfleld, he stopped the car, let his daughter take the wheel and, after a few false starts, she was driving smoothly. As she started to gain confidence, she even put her foot down but slowed again and shifted down to second gear as she approached a bend. Unfortunately, she turned the corner to see a bull standing right in the middle of the road. She slammed her foot on the brakes, but it was too late and she ran right into the poor animal. On discovering that the bull was dead, the young woman burst into tears. It didn't help when a distressed farmer pulled up and asked them if they had seen, Big Red, his champion Hereford bull.
