JACK OUT

Driving home from work one evening, a man from Johannesburg had a blow-out on the motorway and pulled over to change the tyres. The man had just started jacking up the front of his car, when another car pulled over and a young man got out and offered to help him. The man was happy to get any help he could and readily accepted the young man's offer. However, he was surprised when, instead of grabbing the spare tyre on the ground, the young man took a jack out of his car and began jacking up the rear of the car. So he asked the young man to explain what he was up to. "Well, I thought you could have the front wheels and I could have the rear wheels," came the reply. The driver had innocently pulled over on a road notorious for car thefts and car-stripping.
