PHOTO FINE

Heres one to make you think twice when trying to elude the law. . . A man from Chicago, taking his prized Porsche out for a spin, was caught speeding by a roadside camera. The resulting penalty notice arrived in the post. It included a photograph of the car and the date and speed of the offence and demanded payment of a fine within seven days. The motorist chuckled to himself and decided to play a little practical joke on the police. He duly sent a photograph of a cheque to the unsuspecting police. A few days later, he received a letter from the police. Inside was a big glossy photograph of a prison cell. Sure enough, the speeding motorist got the hint and paid the fine.
