A LITTLE LATE

A teenager returned home on his birthday after an unpleasant day at school where everyone seemed to be going out of their way to ignore him. Although he wondered if his family and friends might have been setting him up for a surprise, arriving home he was greeted as normal. Then his parents told him they were going out - and they left. Lonely and a little sad, the boy telephoned his girlfriend to see if she could join him, but she declined his invitation, stating that she was busy. Irritated at this cold response - on this day of all days -he called up an ex-girlfriend. She willingly visited, and things soon became steamy, so they moved the action upstairs to his bedroom. Ten minutes later, the phone rang and the boy, now naked, went downstairs to answer it, eagerly followed by his naked ex-girlfriend. The call was from his mother, who said she had forgotten to hang up some washing and asked him if he would do it. He agreed and, taking the girl on his back, went into the laundry room to sort out the washing. As he turned on the light there was a shout of "Surprise!" and he saw both his parents, a collection of his school friends and his girlfriend. His mother, seeing her son and his ex-girlfriend naked, stammered quietly "Here's your present," as she handed him a mobile phone.
