BANKING BONDS

A banker and a salesman had been commuting to work together for years and had formed as strong a bond as you can get in such a situation. One day, the salesman boarded the train looking like he was on the verge of tears. With some gende probing, he revealed that his wife had left him. Eager to cheer him up, the banker invited him for dinner that evening. That night, joining the banker and his wife and daughter for dinner, the salesman began to cheer up and became a frequent visitor to the household. A few weeks later, the banker came across a letter in his daughters bag. The letter proposed a passionate liaison with the salesman. Furious, the banker told his daughter that he would not permit her to see the salesman but the daughter told him where to go and stormed off in defiance. A week later, the banker confronted the salesman. He said: "Look, you must stop seeing her. It's driving us all apart." To which the salesman coldly replied: "Stop seeing who?
