CONFUSION

A couple decided to have a weekend break by the seaside. They stayed at a small hotel owned by a middle-aged woman who had recently been widowed. Before long, it became obvious to one of the men (who was not entirely gay) that she was quite interested in him. When his partner suggested going for a walk, he declined the offer, explaining that he was tired. As he expected, his partner went for a walk on his own so the man made his move on the woman. They had very passionate sex for several hours but after that their brief liaison was never repeated and it remained a secret. Indeed, in what he considered a cunning move, the man gave the widow his partner's name pretending it was his own. About three years later, the partner received a letter from a lawyer informing him that the widow had died and that she had left him the hotel and all her savings. Along with the lawyers letter was another letter, this time from the woman, describing in great detail their"afternoon of unbridled passion" which, she asserted, she would not forget until the day she died.
